Take Action for the Sustainable Development Goals - United Nations Sustainable Development

“Mom, Dad, I want to be a superhero. He looks so cool, I want to be like him. She saves lives, I want to be like her.”

We’ve all said something like this at least once in our childhood. Do you know why? Because superheroes—whether men or women—have one thing in common: they help the needy, they fight for justice, and they protect the future for a greater cause. And they did everything they could.

So what about now? Who are the superheroes today?

That’s where WeDidIt comes in. A pioneering non-profit organization, WeDidIt proves that even the tiniest actions can create a big impact in the world.

Founded by Sree Krishna Seelam, WeDidIt brings together thousands of ordinary people—just like us— from across the globe to work toward meaningful change.

Why “We Did It”?

The name says it all. It’s not about I or me. It’s about us.

With 10,000+ volunteers, WeDidIt has already sparked change in communities worldwide— tackling issues from environmental conservation to grassroots education. Every project is built on one simple belief: small efforts, put together, can shift the future.

A Story of Impact

Take for example a group of WeDidIt volunteers in a coastal town. What started as a simple beach cleanup grew into a community-led initiative. Within months, the coastline was restored, schools began teaching children about conservation, and local families proudly joined the mission.

This is the magic of WeDidIt: when ordinary people unite, extraordinary things happen.
